>>47342082The biggest red flag that it's fake is the lack of "trailer bait". Like how Link's Awakening was essentially a 1:1 remake, but they added the new dungeon builder mode. That mode turned out to be a pretty pointless addition, but it was in ALL of the trailers to entice people who already played the original. I remember Nintendo doing that as far back as Super Mario Advance, where EVERY magazine article would include a screenshot of the Mecha Birdo fight to trick people into thinking there was a lot of new content for returning players. Pokeathalon in HGSS and the Sevii Islands served the same purpose.
Basically, if a leak doesn't include at least one thing meant to sell the game to people who've played the original, it's pretty much 100% fake.
