Seafloor Cavern was much more difficult than this, especially since you could fuck up the arrangement and have to leave/re-enter the cell.

If you can see all the puzzle, it's not hard. At snowpoint you have to move around a bit and take some note of the patches. Distortion world I can't remember much of. If you find annoyance a difficulty, then yeah. The character walks and jumps too slow.

Dude the distortion world puzzle is literally push rocks into holes that aren't even far away. It's among the easiest "Puzzles" in any game

Celadon gym is hard for the same reason distortion world is hard
It's not the puzzle itself, it's the fact that it's unclear what you're supposed to do, and the shitty visual design makes it really hard to tell what you even can do

Not that anon, but I explicitly avoid trainers only in gyms because A) I rarely need or even want the exp and B) I set up a sort of self challenge where once I enter the gym I can't leave to heal or even use items to heal. Since gyms are often designed such that trainer battles are a punishment for failing a puzzle, I like to make it actually FEEL like a consequence and not just more exp. Plus the trainers become unbattlable once you beat the gym so it doesn't set off my autism that wants me to do everything in an area before leaving

The Distortion World was pretty difficult for Pokémon, but I wouldn't say it's the very difficult overall.
As a kid that crap was impossible, but it's not that hard now, I did it a while back (blind) and even though it took me a bit, I wouldn't say it was difficult, just confusing.
