Pro-tip: picking a Pokemon in Dynamax Advantures that has a type disadvantage against a legendary/ultra beast is a bad idea, and it doesn't change a thing if the Pokemon you picked happens to be popular. The unpopular Pokemon with the type advantage will always be the better pick compared to the popular Pokemon that has a glaring type disadvantage.

So yes, using Sceptile against an Articuno is a bad idea.

Hidden Power was removed because its Dynamax counterpart would've had higher BP, and Game Freak doesn't want any special-attacking Pokémon they don't approve of to have access to any decent coverage moves.
