>on top of that, tons of other pokemon merchandise, not always actually licensed lol
>some people played pokemon on PCs but it still wasn't common, pokemania was mostly little kid thing and it would be hard for them to get emulators, roms and play a game in foreign language
>in 2005 it kinda comes back but its far from being as big as first time
>3th gen anime is aired and corresponding tazos are released
>this time I am able to actually play the games which is nice
