For my partners, I prefer more elegant, pretty designs like Lilligant, Gardevoir and Milotic, for general others I like a natural look like Birds/Rodents/plants and also more mythical and interesting pokemon like Dragonair and even Tropius. Even stuff like Heatmore and Durant are really nifty, like real animals that have pokemon logic applied. Gen one's monster designs like the Nidos and Rhydon are great as well. Objectmons suck, yes even voltorb. I don't care for many legendaries apart from Kyogre and Groudon
