>>47382711I firmly believe the lack of sales for the Gamecube, the overall mixed response to the Wii, and eventually the universal backlash for the Wii U has killed Nintendo’s desire to be unique in new ways, which has effectively removed all soul from their more recent games, and Splatoon was the first obvious sign of this. Even their consoles, starting with the “new” 3DS, have been cheaply made for efficiency purposes. All Nintendo cares about anymore is what sells and makes massive profits, and of course Game Freak has followed a similar path.
