>>47384273It was meant to learn all 3 pledges but due to a coding error that has still not been fixed a generation later, it can't learn the other two. As for why it would learn the other moves at all, we don't know but it's possible they wanted this thing to be like a second starter to you or they wanted it to work well with your starter in doubles.
