Black and White's story isn't even that fucking good in the grand scheme of things. The best thing it had going for it, the absolute best thing, was how it operated in battle.

Kids now have access to internet, as early as 6 years olds and Pokemon being a kids game would attract more kids than adults, hence the ratio of mindless hatred towards anything Gen 1 and Gen 2.
