I mean autistic as in the disorder. The drawing is characteristic of people with autism (who often have poor handwriting and childish art skills), and the people in the photo look like they’re on the spectrum to some degree.

The one who made the drawing (the Suicune) eventually got a job drawing shit on t-shirts for a zoo in Prague. She either quit or got laid off at some point. She makes fursuits now. No idea about any of the other people, if you feel like it you can see if digging up the names she mentions in her DeviantArt turns up anything.

Probably trained to draw like that using real pictures as a basis. But never trained to draw the other style, her furry art was mostly likely imitation of other styles she had seen. I doubt the early net had plentiful furry art tutorials by people who actually knew her shit.
