And they couldn't add that to BDSP because why exactly? Be a perfect post-game effort not to mention way to bullshit having all three Sinnoh legends in one BDSP file on top. No need to drag their alt time period effort into it.

Not him, but they usually come paired as well to double interest/sales too. If Legends doesn't have a pair, it can't be a new Generation, ignoring the old region, starters and no trad storyline.

No, Game Freak refer to them as eras. And there's nothing suggesting they see these as a new era, given they explicitly set them in a time before the trappings of modern games.
