No one expects spinoffs to have every pokemon available either, except flaseflaggers and literal snot-eating retards, it's just that the autists that buy and play nothing but both versions of any paired release are not hardcore video-game fans, they are Pokemon fans first and foremost
The spinoffs sell mostly well for what they are pretty much always, but they're also mainly directed at the people that buy those kinds of games in the first place
