>live in a small country
>hobby shop culture is well alive, all big cities have a card/board game shop
>get english sets on time, max a week later than the rest of the world
>all sets, even chilling reign, well stocked at normal prices at all times, etbs easily available, no scalping or fighting over cards
>trading and selling mostly done on our own platforms and in our own language, but have access to ebay if needed
>only slightly elevated prices in second market, nowhere near the madness of ebay prices
>sellers and buyers know each other because small country, so minimum chance of scamming, no need to worry if the seller actually ships
Feels good living in a country that no-one even remembers exists. I don't know how our retailers do it, but scalping in America and Europe hasn't really affected us. I'm also glad that english speaking collectors don't have access to our second hand market, it keeps it more sane and affordable.
This is a bit of a flex, but trying to give you perspective that things could be different for you. Japan also seems well off, but I'm sad english speakers are now robbing their cards from them.
