Could be Ghost/Dark, Ghost/Rock, Ghost/Flying, Dark/Rock, Rock/Flying, or Dark/Flying
Perhaps that conundrum is why they haven't made one.

I always get these guys in their shiny form, because I think they look better than their normal colors:
Gyarados, Umbreon, Blaziken, Metagross, Rayquaza, Serperior, Lilligant, Haxorus and Golurk.

I didn't realize they had a "turn to stone" type analog, and I didn't really get gargoyle from their face shape. Plus it's not exactly the color scheme or type that I would expect.
But you're right I guess that was their version of it, it was just so shitty I didn't even realize that's what it was supposed to be.

Weird, when I was a kid I used to autistically go through every pokemon on serebii.net with my little sister and we would pick out our planned party before we got the game as well as our favorite shinies, and I somehow never knew that shiny Espeon was bright green

Yeah, but surely you see how doing a gargoyle and then making him blue and red, have a scaly dragonlike skin, a distinctly dragonlike tail, and making him a dragon type might throw people off from the gargoyle comparison

Don't know where you people are going with this Druddigon being a gargoyle garbage.
It's clearly supposed to be a dragon based on an agama lizard, hence the blue body and reddish head, rough scales, and the fact that it's always found in rocky areas/caves.
