>>47423417It all started last august when I saw 3 1st ed fossil packs for $650 on Kijiji. I was dumbfounded at the price, and immediately interested in Pokémon as an investment. I had always loved the Gameboy games, the cards to a lesser extent as a kid.
But as an adult, I wanted to look at it from a value proposition, and a tax-free one at that. It was the perfect “alternative” investment I was looking for. Since I already had precious metals, stocks, etc, cards were the next chapter.
I bought about 6 myself for MRSP @ $40, the rest from scalpers (sorry)for about $62 avg.
I actually had the chance to buy like 20 more but I already spent like thousands, and was deterred by fudders here who said XY was shit and would crash after Christmas. Boy were they wrong
