If you think BDSP will be better in any capacity to Platinum, HGSS, BW, BW2, XY, or even the ORIGINAL DP you must be out of your fucking mind.
Yeah sure, as long as they retain the original gameplay progression like LGPE did then it will be better than Gen 7 or 8, but that is not saying anything at all.

You probably weren't around back then (or maybe were just too young to know), but prime Pokemania was during Gen 1. By about halfway through Gen 2, most kids lost interest in Pokemon. Mainstream news channels and radio networks stopped talking about it. Most western Pokemon merch only featured the original 151. Crystal flopped. Everyone had RB or even Yellow, about half had GS, and I knew of no one that had Crystal. Kids finished elementary school and moved on to other interests. Gen 2's release was the end of Pokemania, and it was only carried by the ripple effect before finally flattening out.
