Fly to Goldenrod, but 3 Rock Smash TMs. Teach Gyarados Surf, Strenght, Waterfall and Rock Smash. Catch a Magikarp and evolve with the Exp Share on, teach it the same but swap Rock Smash for Whirlpool, then box unless needed for 2 areas.
Krabby can be a good HM slave, but breed Bellsprout for Synthesis (male Sunkern or Hoppip with female Bellsprout). Teach it Leech Seed, Cut and Flash, set up LS on turn one, spam Flash and use items on the team. Evolve as soon as you get these attacks, that's all for HM slaves.
Put Rest and a healing berry for healing turns, Sunny day can stack eoth your team and Solar Beam. No one else should have HMs except for Fly, so patch with coverage moves or buffs. Punching moves can be good.
