>>47416784too bad you missed out on IoA meta, that was pure kino
you missed Series 8 which featured 1 restricted per team (Zacian etc.) so we’re back to the rules that we had when CT first launched. If you want to get back into things, these strategies/cores are among the most consistent
>Venusaur + Torkoalfits on any team and disrupts many strategies with Venusaur’s fast Sleep Powder and G-Max Vine Lash as well as Torkoal’s slow Eruption/Heat Wave and bothersome Yawns/Burning Jealousy to punish TR.
>Coalossal + DragapultThis shit won the first two player’s cups. Dragapult uses Suef to activate G-Max Coal’s Steam Engine and Weakness Policy and you’re off to the races. Usually paired with Rillaboom to fuck with Water and Ground mons. Urshifu-Rapid is another popular partner bc it fucks grounds harder and can use Aqua Jet to proc Coalossal.
>Glastrier Trick RoomThis one’s simple, Glastrier is easily the strongest TR sweeper in the game whether it has LO, WP, or AV. If you dynamax it’s just not gonna get killed unless the opponent has boosts. Pair with braindead TRmons like Dusclops, Porygon2, Torkoal, Amoonguss, Indeedee/Hatterene, Stakataka or whatever and you’ve got a team.
>Metagross/Moltres-GYou don’t necessarily need to pair these together, but they function pretty much the same. They’re extremely hard to kill when dynamaxed and have Weakness Policies that can easily be abused (Priority Draining Kiss Comfey/Ice Shard for Moltres, Bulldoze from faster stuff like Spectrier/Entei for Metagross which also provides speed control). Moltres gains speed boosts and spdef drops that let it sweep and Metagross gets obnoxiously bulky with defense and spdef boosts.
>Landorus-T, Incineroar, Regielekiput this shit on almost any team and it just becomes better, they’re all monsters on support and attack front and I don’t need to explain
>Regigigas + Weezingwins at team preview half the time on ladder
Regirock’s good too if you wanna try that
