What is the difference between a Pokemon Trainer and a Pokemon Poacher? Bulbapedia defines a Pokemon Poacher as someone who captures a lot of wild Pokemon at a time to sell them for profit. When I play Pokemon games, I like catching a bunch of them, and I assume many others are the same way, as well as certain characters across various forms of media, what with the GET POKEMON tagline or, of course, the GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL thing. But what separates that pursuit from what Pokemon Poachers are doing? Is it the anthropological aspect? Do you assume that many Trainers aiming to complete the Pokedex do not actually remove Pokemon from their habitat, or at least, not for extended periods of time?
