Somehow, Saya Tsuruna designed both my favorite Pokémon and one of my least favorite Pokémon - Gavantula and Aromatisse, respectively.
Talk about disappointing.

I really wish we knew everything about who designed what, but most Japanese devs are pretty private about the work they contribute. Turner tells us everything he makes, I'm not sure how we got so much of Ariga's work attributed to him. Is he open about it on Twitter? I know Tsuruna often tweets fanart of Pokémon she designed.

Holy shit he's absolutely godlike. Alolan Golem is his only sore spot for me. I'm not a huge fan of Arctozolt in isolation but its animation where you see it shivering makes it better.

This is actually really disappointing. So we all know she designed fetishbait barney, but now, she also designed Goomy and Sliggoo?? She originally intended those two to become fetishbait barney the whole time?

I assumed those two were made by different designers due to their radically different appearance, and the fact that they do not look like shit. This sucks.

I dislike how Spritzee's more avian traits (such as the wings) are lost upon evolving to Aromatisse. Going from bird to can-can dancer doesn't make sense.
