It's just retarded. Scandals don't exist with just cherrypicked anecdotes (which people can't refer to either). Imagine if OJ Simpson didn't have a real case of murder, but instead, had a bunch of people quoting some tales about how he killed a bunch of nameless people nobody can remember. That's how absurd this whole topic is.
The fact that english speakers always seem clueless about this topic shows how blown out of proportion it is, if it ever existed that is.
