Alolan Muk is cancer and has a lot of the problems that come with nu-Pokemon.
It's built for competitive instead of soul, it piggybacks off of KANTOOOOO, and is overdesigned to the point of easily passing as a fakemon. What the fuck were they thinking?

Nu-Pokemon is obsessed with the competitive scene and because of that it misses out on good designs by instead always focusing on "How can we make this more viable in competitive?".
I'd rather have a bunch of well designed mons that are shit for competitive than a bunch of poorly designed ones that are useful in competitive.

It's an oil slick with claws and teeth. It's more than the original, but I wouldn't call it overdesigned. It's pretty cool. Also nothing wrong with it being competitive.
Only issue I have with it is pointed out by >>47427694. It shouldn't invalidate the original.
