>>47426296I love Aerodactyl, one of my favorite Flying types. He is probably unpopular (not in a negative way) for a couple of reasons
1. In some gens, you can only get him through trading.
2. In Kanto games, you don't get Aerodactyl until you are nearly at the end of the game with your final Pokemon team. Unless you try to get to Cinnabar ASAP after beating Misty to have him on your team, you're probably already satisfied with Pidgeot or Charizard as your endgame flyer.
3. His backsprite can look a little weird, like an old man with a horizontal neck.
