Does anyone else hate how little continuity there is in pokemon? Despite everything taking place in one world, each region feels completely isolated from one another. You have world ending catastrophes in every other gen but nobody ever brings these up. It felt like they tried to remedy this in gen 4 with the Arceus event, gen 5 with the implied connection between the tao and creation dragons, and gen 7 with Type: bull but of course, none of that shit went anywhere. The worst part is the franchise still acts like it has this big marvel style plot coming together with taglines like
