I remember reddit and Twitter saying how much better sobble was because he was "big mood" and then when the game got data mined to shit like a week before launch they started jerking off about how intellion was gonna be meta when his hidden ability was released and how the other 2 starters got the short end of the stick. Scorbunny for my first playthorugh, which I boxed later on. Then Sobble for my second, he's the only starter I can tolerate out of all three. I think that Grookey is super cute, but I don't like his final evolution, humanoid feet gross me out. Most starter Pokemon are so boring, too often they have uninteresting type combos & always the same lame abilities.

I picked Scorbunny when I realized it affected Hop's and Leon's teams. Leon's king theme was better with Inteleon as a dragon-like monster and Mr. Rhyme as his court jester.
