If the entire game was set at the same pace it took to get the first two badges, these would be the GOAT games in the series instead of just being the most dissapointing.

Pacing was always shit in 3d games -

It's so jarring on replays cause it feels like half of the game is just Turffield, Hulbury, and Motostoke, and then suddenly I'm already in Spikemuth. Maybe it's the cutscenes and dialogue? I have no clue.

As a kalosperm, can confirm. Not that it's an achievement since literally anything is better than Shitnova and I can still see how Gen 7 and 8 are objectively better than Gen 6.
It's good to not be the absolute worst even if it still is the worst.

Do Kalosperms really? Come on man, Alolasomes and Galarvae aren't anything like this. Why do you feel the need to bring it up when everyone already knows that Gen 5 was the worst? Being better than it is not an achievement. You will always be in Alola's shadow.

its a simple bare bones normal pokemon experience which doesn't have any overly complicated gimmicks and doesn't overstay its welcome
basically, its made for beginners

It doesn't even make sense for Humilau or Virbank to just appear within two years, when the games were based of the never-changing NYC. Maybe if this were a Chinese setting, where a newly constructed ghost city is populated with millions within a year.

B2W2 should have been set a decade later, with drastic climate change effects evident upon the environment of all routes, altering the seasons.
