>>47439241>I said TPCAnd? They can't do shit, without Game Freak's ok (in other words, whatever they're pushing, got the ok from their owners - Nintendo and Game Freak).
I mean, if TPC had agency like you cunts think, we'd have wall-to-wall TPC-approved frogposting because "muh twitter poll says hes pupolar11" but Game Freak ditched the embarrassment to continue shilling at the last dregs of the 6-12yo bracket from last Gen, while hooking in the fresh influx of the other end of the scale this Gen.
The marketers have no agency in how the creators of the behemoth treat their IP. Fucking Nintendo can't even get them to do what they want, or did you forget they were supposed to deliver Pokémon 2 in '97 and not a rehash, an anime tie-in and require an outside programmer to unfuck their process to deliver that game, two years late and at increased cost to the project and by extension Nintendo's marketing budget (they were paying for the anime in the early days ad had to eat the cost of the filler season on top of the game delays, till Iwata took over as CEO and set up TPC to handle everything but the creation of the games/lore so the rest could work in peace).
It's easy to spot the immature children, they're the ones insisting their kiddy game is bad because the marketing company won't let the devs age up the game, instead of realising the devs never once gave a fuck about ageing up the series, had several opportunities over the years to do so and still never bothered, even when they had adults out the arse picking up an obsolete system, just to play the fucking thing on.
