I didn't hate the concept, just the execution. I keep saying their one glaring fuck-up with megas was giving it to shit that didn't need a mega. Had they kept it to potentially-salvageable shitmons, it'd be far better a gimmick.

Clickbait article. The Gameskinny article doesn't verbatimly quote Masuda saying Megas and Zmoves will NOT be in GEN 8. In fact it said, the article was "speculating" that we might lose Zmoves and Megas in SWSH (the writer was not sure himself.)
