I'm replaying Platinum and I want a good physical attacker for my team. Which one do you guys recommend? These 4 looked like the best options. Feel free to recommend anything though.

Ice coverage is important, and Weavile is pretty cool

If you could use Scizor then that, but Weavile is one of the very few Ice-types that actually like being Ice-type so use that

I'm picking Empoleon as my starter and one of the moves I'm teaching it is Ice Beam. But I guess having an ice type pokemon could also be useful since so many things are weak or double weak to ice.

Is Scizor much better than Scyther? I was interested in Scyther because of it's speed stat and Scizor has horrible speed.

Who needs speed when you're always going first with a technician bullet punch? Also higher attack and defense, plus all the neat resistances being steel brings.
