I can't say for sure if Blaine will live a Surf, but I know for sure Giovanni's entire team will just get one shot by Surf. The number of Pokemon used in these things really doesn't matter. Drayden with 3 Pokemon is a tougher fight than Claire with four because his movesets are better.
But until they make these double battles or give out ridiculous arena boosts to the Leader's Pokemon, they'll all be easy anyway.
And that's just one of many things in that list that completely falls apart under any sort of scrutiny. And the few things that are valid are things people have complained about since they came out, so they become strawmen because no one is saying "it doesn't need x", completely reducing the entire post to shit.
