The Wild Area and DLCs combined are only as big as the eastern half of Hoenn.
This is very strange cope, especailly considering that for all the superfluous filler SWSH added, it still didn't add any of the shit that SM unceremoniously removed from the core gameplay like branching paths, triples/rotation, the National Dex, the ability to fish anywhere, the ability to sit in the world, a way to quick and effectively EV train like hordes or Super Training, engaging side modes like the Amie Minigames or game corner/contests, or having seasons be either integrated into the map and story or be an actual mechanic.
But yeah, sure. They threw in pointless sidequests with little to no engagement and a worse version of following than the game that came out directly before it. Great.
