The reason why Gen 5 is so shilled is because kids who grew up playing this as their first game started turning into adults and opened their stupid mouths about "muh first" generation being the best.
Muh 1st gen was gen 1, and its literally the worst, dated game ever.
but gen 5 is pretty shit. you either play every game and develop a good taste of what you like and dont like in a game, or you just shill your childhood game and ignore 7 other titles.
B&W was released in 2010. so if you were 7-12 during this time you are now over 18.
Just sit back and wait. XY was released in 2013. my guess it will be another 3 years, and you will get zoomers growing up and giving you "Muh childhood game is better".
until then, your gen was trash, and not memorable. It did nothing better than Platinum, and was just a filler until we got to Gen 7.
