>>47457269The solution to IVs is actually very simple - just make it so that there are 'IV sets' specific to each Pokemon that are randomized when you catch it. So you could have something like Garchomp with 3 IV sets, one that prioritizes Phys Atk and Spe at the cost of SpA and SpD, or SpA and SpD at the cost of Atk and Def, or Spe and Atk/SpA at the cost of the defensive stats, or something like that. Then make IVs actually matter significantly more, so that there's a degree of actually making Pokemon seem more unique even within their own species and you can build to specific strengths or overaccount for weaknesses. Basically make them expanded natures.
