What's a fresh way to play an old game? Something like Nuzlocke but different and less played out. Was thinking of trying an egglocke or genlocke.

On my 2nd playthrough I exclusively use pokemons of the antagonist gang

I did a "Team Rocket" run of Soul Silver. It mostly ended up as a monotype (poison) run and I can safely say, do not recommend. Might work out in other games with other Teams, though.

You could try Professor Oak's Challenge. Fair warning, it's a lot of grinding, but some people are into that.
