Make it similar in concept to pic related as an alternative evo for Dragonair instead of retconning the existing Dragonite. Dragonite is cool, but Dragonair deserves a proper evolution.

I agree, especially if it's gummy bear green like Stantler or Ursaring

But some greens are ok. Dragonite's green is good, it's a deeper green that you see in medieval dragon illustrations
