That's why Dunsparce is rare and evasive and literally has sparce in the name. The other half of the name is dunce. Like an idiot, a derp. Because Dunsparce is a joke and designed to be anti-climatic.
Imagine you are smol Japanese child and you hear playground whispers of there being a bachi-hebi Pokémon somewhere in this cave. Wow really, a fabled bachi-hebi??? You search and search forever, thinking maybe it's not even real, and then you find it and.....it's completely derpy and useless. Dunsparce is a gag, as well as serving as a bit of commentary for how something being rare and hard to find does not necessarily mean it is valuable.
