Dynamax and the engine aren't the same thing, Let's Go uses the same engine and has Megas instead. For all we know, they could chose to bring back Z-moves because they haven't done that in a while, I wouldn't put it past them at this point.

No, they'll add new things that either are okay or fuck up the game, while also not only not bringing in most stuff from the third version, but also removing some stuff from the originals. So same as ORAS. At least when FRLG or HGSS fucked something up, they added a bunch of cool new stuff as compensation.

Let's Go isn't the same engine as gen 8 amy more than gen 7 is. Every game builds off of the previous one, they just used LG instead of gen 7 for 8 because it was already on the Switch.
