I'd rather have AU Yajima Ash (movies 20, 21 and 23 - this one were all directed by the XY guy Yajima) than a PM2019 movie. Thank Arceus we had no Alola movies and we don't need any trannyGoh movies either.

Good, it's annoying how these mythicals get all this cool adventure-like lore in every media except in the game, in which most of them are just slapped directly to you.
Manaphy was the better event mon, even though it was just a strategy to make you buy a spinoff game. But at least the game was good unlike the shit you had to get for Jirachi.

i wonder what the situation would've been without pandemic. because there was no additional mythical programmed into the current game to make a movie about anyway. we're not like "oh i guess they're not making Zeepzorp's movie because Zarude's movie performed poorly" because there is no Zeepzorp to make a movie about.

Movie 5 is LITERALLY the only piece of the ashnime that isn't essentially an extended commercial, it's the peak of ashnime storytelling. It works on its own and you can show it to people who don't know about Pokemon.
They'd ruin my girl Latias with plot rewrites and shitty CGI. No need for that.

Also, no movie this year, but movie in the 25th anniversary of the anime?

As to the Koko movie… The premise and Koko’s design are cute. But really, who’s interested in seeing a millionth Tarzan movie? The premise is just so repetitive, it feels like a waste of time. I wouldn’t be surprised if this movie didn’t perform as well during non-Covid times.
