Don't forget he's done this with the first five generations. Each Pokemon game is about 20 hours which means he willingly played 120 hours worth of JRPGs in the most boring way possible just to argue with people on /vp/. Yeah, even if they still made all the sprites like they were and just used a filter on them after to hide all the pixel shifting they'd have looked so much better.

And before whatever idiot is gonna say it, yes, you can see it on the original hardware. It's not as noticeable but you still see it if you're not blind.
