regardless swampert is easily the best pick for doing RSE/ORAS nuzlockes since he can completely blank most of the gyms in the game, especially Watson who can be a run ender. Swamp's line can learn everything from his excellent STAB moves to ice, rock, fighting, and steel making it easy to patch holes in your run's comp, and if RNGeesus has been kind to you swamp can serve as a great HM slave as well.
