It should have awarded you shit like a random room decor or something else. There was literally no incentive to play it since rushing through the E4 gave more money for vitamins.

are you serious, op? that's pretty sad. once you get to the super trains you get 5 BP on the first set and it increases by one every set after.
if you really want to grind BP though, the best thing to do is gym leader triples in the PWT. you get BP equal to your remaining pokemon for each battle, so if you have a strong team you can pretty easily earn 12-15 BP for just three battles.
