All parties bring a team(s) of 6, and pick 3 to support their partner (as best as you can guess).
With such open rules, many people ask what mon limitations should be. From my perspective that can be agreed upon by the participants. In the past themed multi-battles have happened, for example, a battle where all participants use one type of pokemon (rock, fire, fighting). Little cup is an option, but I'm still teetering on really being prepared for those. Sometimes battle limitations took smogon tier or vgc season limitations. Uber themed battles are fun (in my opinion). Lastly the images of multi battles also highlight some pokemon people have brought to provide ideas.
But why no one is participating is because there are very few interested and available concurrently, but if
