To be fair, this isn't Game Freak's fault for once. The majority of the Pokemon fandom stamped their feet and shit their diapers because they couldn't catch Charizarderino. Met with such an unyielding temper tantrum of crybaby rage, GF had no choice but to put the old Pokemon back in.

Seriously speaking tho, most Pokémon games before gen 5 were limited to 150 Pokémon in the main story too, just the same as BW, and they even had worse type variety. So why are you claiming that older games solved this issue?

If they didnt put more pokémon, you would cry because there is "nothing new". I like the decision because it makes the game different from the first one and its also explained in the game. We have a game with only new pokémon, and a game with old and new pokémon.

You're right. Which is why they should have just added 50 brand new Pokemon to BW2 or something instead of lazily just slapping in old ones.
