I have decided to cave and finally play Pokemon Sword. But I want to ensure that Nintendo gets no money from me, so I'm going to buy from ebay.

My question is, if I bought a preowned Sword + Expansion pass, am I even going to be able to redeem the DLC, or will it not be possible if the person who bought it already redeemed it?
