>>47518393>durr it look stoopid!11!Yes yes, very good insight. This is the competitive discussion thread though, you can go over to the daily DYNAMAX BAD thread I'm sure is up right now
>>47518394>or the ridiculous shit that it introduced itself. Max AirstreamMax Airstream is a great move, but to say that it makes ANY Dynamax Pokemon overbearing is fucking ridiculous. Celesteela is a good mon because its versatile as fuck with its bulky stat spread and Meteor Beam giving it a good potential kick when Dynamaxing. Airstream is barely part of it. The same goes for Landorous, who barely like dynamaxing itself and retain the largely utility support focus role it had in earlier gens. Fucking G-Moltres is more about spamming Max Darkness then Airstream because it gets fucking amazing synergy off of the Sp.Def drop when combined with WP and Beserk shenanigans. It being busted is a meme.
> gmax Coal/Zard/VenuBesides the fact that none of these three have anywhere CLOSE to the usage numbers of a "busted" Pokemon, these are predictable as fuck and shut down with a good variety of countermeasures that can be employed from fucking team preview. G-Max Coal is weka to redirection and has two glaring 4X weaknesses on common attacking types in Doubles. Charizard is middling in its speed tier, struggles against opposing weather, kills itself easily given the chance, and is fucked hard by one of the best Pokemon in the format in Regieleki. Venusaur is the best of thes three currently, but even it falls into the pitfall of opposing weather fucking its gameplan hard, being HEAVILY reliant on RNG with Sleep Powder (and still being screwed because a random Poke was packing Safety Goggles), and its two attacking types are commonly resisted among the top tier cabal of VGC. Don't act like the guys are some unstoppable beasts, that's what Megas were for.
