>>47521543>Emerald’s, but it’s offset by the fact that the entire rest of the game is a zero effort rehash.I mean the game was very well paced and overall had great map design before, it it's not broke don't fix it. We can argue if Platinum "fixed" DP or not, but it was changed and that did impact the game's design, overall.
>It’s great because it has a variety of challenging battle modes to play.True, most third versions do. It's rare for a first version to do that, even remakes struggle. XY had only one real option, and you could cheese Triples with no effort, just hatch a new Aron with a specific moveset and Sturdy. There's a reason most other battle facilities don't let you bring in Level 1 Pokemon. Or did, anyway.
>I don’t have to actively work to easily shit on trainers I’m forced to battle anyway.Arguable, maybe I should see how Pokemon level in the speedrun, since I assume they only battle mandatory trainers for the most part.
>By catching them or having NPCs give me them. Same thing as XY.Alright, now what are the levels and BST of the gift Pokemon in each game, and do they come with anything else?
>>47521780Why doesn't XY have both, then? Like, it was probably so easy to add Triples and Rotations to BW's Battle Subway that, again, I could probably do it with no idea what I'm doing.
>and four different formats as opposed to BW's twoNo? Again, BW has Single, Double, Multi, and WiFi. XY has Single, Double, Triple, Rotation, and Multi. Play the games, and you'd actually understand the difference.
>Playing the non autistic way is walking through a hallway, collecting items you'll probably never use, and battling Hiker Jake and his two shitty Boldore? Sounds awfully boring.Maybe, but what is boring to some people is doing 200 battles with teams that have a few repeat Pokemon for a single berry. It's not about one or another, you have to have both. HGSS isn't great just because it has the Battle Frontier, Platinum already had that.
