At least Alola's cutscenes were actually scenes. Unova's "cutscenes" weren't much because they're just sprites for the most part.

Literally the reason why I dropped Ultra Moon. I wanted to face the supposedly hard final boss, but fuck Gamefreak if they think a grown man with better things to do is gonna sit through another helping of Lily's Adventure. Dropped and never going back. It killed Alola.
