Way too may mons in alola are like 30-50. A lot of things probably should be, like crabominable, but things that look like they ought to be fast like Lurantis are down there as well. Decidueye is cursed as well with 70 speed... as the fasted starter of the gen. A lot of things also get random numbers between 90 and 100 as well, which just gimps them as well.

The most annoying part was realizing the artwork colors for Minior didn't reflect how it looked ingame.

That pissed me off until I decided to go dark blue.

I think it's the opposite actually
Gen 6's artwork made the pokemon look much better but then the 3D Models were too crappy to match.
Gen 7 was the opposite, a lot of Pokemon were built to be 3D so they ten to look better like WishiWashi

That being said, Gen 8's cleaning of the models fixed most of the issues, Malamar's model actually looks like his artwork which is great

Kartana is a great ultra beast design because it's folded like origami, which explains its weird alien appearence, and also works as a play on japanese katanas being made of folded steel; it's body and arms are literally made of folded paper which is why they're so sharp.

Bewear looks so much better in game than in the art, as do most Gen 7 Pokémon - Ohmura did the official art for the Alola Pokémon and it shows. He was awful and I'm glad he left Gamefreak.

This is accurate. The dex itself is better than many give it credit for. My issue with Gen 7 is the region and games themselves.
