XD was great, but now it is outdated. DX is a blatant cash grab made for zoomies, at least XD tried to be a bit original with the cash grabbing by not ripping RSE into a 3d game. DX looks awful imo, but it is the same game as rescue team red/blue and those are great. Just the stupid "muh quality of life" improvements make me puke.

I don't like DX's storybook art style, either, but what REALLY gets me is, unpopular opinion time, the music. Everything still has those GBA dings and it feels primal. To me, it's an automatic admittance that this game wasn't made out of passion, it was made as a cash grab on people's MD nostalgia, which, another unpopular opinion time, is usually unjustified.

PMD is just made for kids that want to be puppies, what else is there to say? They even acknowledged this fact since platinum, with kids dressing as pikachu. It is also in SWSH but let's not fool ourselves that was lol-icon bait and the kids who do that usually do because they have shit parents or live in a shit ambient anyway. So the story touches them a lot because the partner acts like a bit fucking emotionally abused child, so they see it as the perfect couple. There is always one broken for another one unstitched

I had an opponent use an electric type attack against my Flaafy and it got paralyzed from Static.
How is that possible if all electric moves are special in gen 3?
