Also, Mimikyu is a living creature, mimikyu is never implied to be or shown as a deceased pokemon or human.
inb4 "some ghost types need to absorb life force and energy, and in the case of sableye, needs to eat gems" that be explained as ghost types either needing that stuff to maintain their physical form, or simply its just an insatiable craving that really has no physical benefit to the pokemon. Hell, in the case of sableye, I can see him insatiably craving gems despite him not having to to live could be interpreted as a form of divine punishment for being greedy or whatever.
