If that's the case then it's actually a pretty good twist on the original DP plot. All my other points are still valid though.
>This has to be bait if you realla agree to a world without emotionsObviously I don't agree with his actions, but if you just take yourself out of it for a moment and think, a world without emotion, willpower and knowledge would be objectively perfect because they cloud our judgement and generate conflict. If you want to take it further, then the objective perfect universe, is one where the universe has reached entropy, down to the quantum level.
Obviously I don't think we should erase all life like Cyrus, but taking into account Cyrus' upbringing and potential autism, it makes for a very good plot.
